How I Think About Product

The best product decisions I've made weren't about features. They were about the system underneath the features — the architecture that makes the next feature cheaper, the org structure that makes the next team faster, the framework that turns one product into a platform.

I use hypothesis-driven development not as a methodology checkbox but as a forcing function: if we can't articulate what we're trying to learn, we shouldn't be building it yet. I invest in discovery before roadmaps, in extensibility before scale, and in team practices before team size.

Most of all, I believe product leadership is organizational design. The way a product team is structured, the practices it runs, the language it uses — those things shape product quality more than any individual prioritization decision. That's where I spend my leverage.
